Great read

Brent Hendricks authenticates and prepares for release, Frederick Delaney’s lost “Red” opera with the help of tech savvy, Eboni Washington. Hired by the Delaney Foundation, they come to discover Delaney is a fraud and although thwarted, they bring the true genius to light. Josephine Reed is finally given the credit she deserved all along.

Not my favorite Adele parks, but good end twist.

Devoured this book in 2 days! Blair and Larkin were great POV characters, their differences in viewing the world gives the book a wide, realistic scope. The battles that the team faced kept the pacing of the book quick and leaves you feeling the pressure of a short window of time they are up against. My only complaint is I have noticed in all Roberts series where she changes points of view in each book, the characters from the previous book get dropped. They are still there in the background but while she is developing the POV characters and those coming up in the next book, time spent with the previous that you have become attached to is minimal.

The chapters are each an impression of Willow Prins, who married into a family whose wealth came from diamonds, and Rayna Dumont, who happened to have slept with an employee who was murdered while she was asleep in his bed. A who done it mystery that was a fun book to read.

I appreciate the British setting for this second Cormoran Strike brutal murder mystery of a tell all writer, Owen Quine. I like both Strike and Robin his assistant. I also like vocabulary that is so challenging.
