Exciting and suspenseful. You wonder how the main character is going to get everyone to know that he is innocent

This was the fourth book of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I thought it was really good with lots of unpredictable plot twist, good character development, and exciting scenes. There were also great heartfelt moments and I liked how the book concluded.

Very fictional book

Serge has amnesia. He is acting as Governor Marlon’s press secretary as they travel through Florida. The trip is more of a meet-the-people trip than a campaign. Book is laugh out loud, hilarious.

This is actually the first in the Sea Shell Harbor series but I read book 2 first. Loved book 2 and while I did enjoy this first story, it fell a little flat for me. Maybe by the time Miranda Liasson reached the second in the series she knew more of the town and where she wanted to go with the characters but this first one felt one dimensional. The grandmother was my favorite character; Hadley and Tony both felt like 2 characters would cut off their nose to spite their face. Instead of ever looking for solutions they are determined to see only the obstacles.

Absolutely in love with this book.

The chapters are each an impression of Willow Prins, who married into a family whose wealth came from diamonds, and Rayna Dumont, who happened to have slept with an employee who was murdered while she was asleep in his bed. A who done it mystery that was a fun book to read.
