Great fantasy world to be in...extravagant weddings with beautiful brides and gowns

This book in the Alex Cross series is even more farfetched than many of his others. Several unrealistic plot twists. However, it is great entertainment and it has an interesting plot which makes it an enjoyable book.

On a Nora Roberts fantasy kick this summer and this did not disappoint. This book did a great job of not being a rewrite of the typical tropes for a group of 6 coming together to fight the impending evil. While most of this book is spent gathering the team, I appreciated the time spent getting to know the characters so that you are connected as they begin their journey. Any book of Roberts that takes place in Ireland is a win for me

Truly loved the back and forth of how deeply tied together the past and present are. Brianna is a well developed character and the backbone of the family. Once again the love and care between the characters, the rich descriptions and well paced story leave you feeling as if you should be sitting in a pub hearing a scary local story. The final battle left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. While the planning and journey to get there built well, it all seemed to wrap up so easily. Absolutely will read the series again though
