Amazing child who had a love for the Mass, the Eucharist, the rosary and sharing his beliefs with the people around him. A self taught computer programmer at 6 years old, Carlo used his skills to compose an exhibit on Eucharistic Miracles. His family would vacation where these miracles occurred. The book also covers the healing miracles that people have had related to this boy who had acute promyelocytic leukemia and died on October 12, 2006 at 15 years old.

Sad, overweight, disfigured and overlooked, Ellen, helps out a blind stranger being robbed and her life improves with each act of bravery. This is a sweet book that has the happy endings for many of the characters. It made me happy!

The Perfect Hope

Such a satisfying ending to the series. Realistic twists and turns for the character, justifying ending for Hope's "smeazy" ex and sweet to see what happens with Lizzy. The enemies to friends in this book felt natural. Sometimes the trope can feel tired and overdone, easily fixed with a simple conversation that most real people would have had a long time ago. Hope and Ryder never felt stretched and their easy slide into interest hit all the right notes. The scene with the garden was a good chuckle. Ill reread this series many times I'm sure as it now has a permanent place on my bookshelf.

Truly loved the back and forth of how deeply tied together the past and present are. Brianna is a well developed character and the backbone of the family. Once again the love and care between the characters, the rich descriptions and well paced story leave you feeling as if you should be sitting in a pub hearing a scary local story. The final battle left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. While the planning and journey to get there built well, it all seemed to wrap up so easily. Absolutely will read the series again though
